The term fanboy within the nerd and geek community has a pretty awful history. Fanboys unfortunately have notoriously been the underbelly of the gaming community as well. They will do all sorts of crazy and outlandish things in favor or in protest of their favorite IPs. We take a look at this culture within the gaming community and why they are harmful.
