During today’s much anticipated State of Play, Capcom showed off a brand new trailer for Street Fighter 6. During the trailer we get to see a glimpse of the new gameplay mechanics and features. We get to see returning veterans Chun Li and Ryu while newcomers Jamie and Luke show off their skills. Jamie looks to be a chinese boxer character. One of the standout gameplay mechanics looks to be more defensive in nature with both a focus attack and parry. Also, the combo system seems to be based on timing.
There’s also a return of World Tour mode. It is being touted as an immersive single player experience.
Street Fighter 6 is scheduled for a Summer 2023 release for Playstation 4/5, Xbox One and Series S|X. Check out the gameplay trailer below:
