Which Fox-verse X-Men characters should come to the MCU?

The X-Men, a classic Marvel franchise rich with lore, characters and its fair share of politics, is (finally) coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Fox deal with Disney meant that Marvel can use the X-Men characters in movie form. We recently had a taste of this in the recent Dr. Strange Multiverse of Madness. As exciting as it is to see an MCU take on the X-Men, questions arise and the big one is who should stay or go when it comes down to role reprisals from the Fox produced X-Men movies? I got a few picks in mind so let’s take a look.

Briana Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead from the Deadpool films, should absolutely come to the MCU. She’s got the look, the charm and charisma for the role and really made the character her own. She didn’t get as much screen time in the 2nd Deadpool movie but here’s hoping an MCU role could bring her into the spotlight a bit more.

Sophie Turner as Jean Grey is another pick for an MCU revival or reimagining. While she was only in two X-Men movies, she’s made quite an impact as the iconic Jean Grey. She fits the role perfectly and I’d love to see her in the MCU at some point in the near future. With her ability to play the sweetheart and someone of unfathomable power, Sophie would rise above in the MCU.

Beast was a low key favorite of mine and Nicholas Hoult’s portrayal of Beast is great. He may not have the sleek and suave hair of Kelsey Grammer’s Beast, but he adds a lot of depth to Beast over several movies. Nicholas would do wonderful in a Marvel backed X-Men movie.

Last but not least, Michael Fassbender’s Magneto is a must have. He’s no stranger to playing a villain and he does a fantastic job of it in X-Men. Would love to have more Michael’s cold and cunning in a MCU film. I like the idea of a somewhat younger Magneto as well. Fassbender’s Magneto has everything the MCU needs.
