As if this was a surprise to many people, Geralt from the critically acclaimed The Witcher 3 will be a guest character in the upcoming Soul Calibur VI. This information leaked weeks ago so my hype is pretty low. That’s not to take away from the fact that Geralt aesthetically fits in with the roster so well that it seems really seamless. If I wasn’t aware of The Witcher 3, I would have assumed he was a brand new character.
From the trailer, Geralt has some of his cool Witcher powers from his original game in his moveset. I loved the fight sequence between Geralt and Mitsurugi. Hopefully he’s actually integrated into the story mode and not just some throwaway guest character.
