
This has to be the biggest flex in e-Sports I’ve ever seen. League of Legends World Championship just kicked off this weekend. The reigning champions DWG Kia decided that they needed a cool fight song. KPop is no stranger to League of Legends. RiotGames created their own digital KPop group K/DA helmed by two members of (G)I-DLE and a slew of alternating english speaking Pop singers. While Sunmi is an incredible artist, outside of KPop, she’s not as internationally popular as BlackPink, BTS or TWICE. However, She’s a phenomenal artist and an interesting pick for a e-sports team song. Go or Stop is a Future House pop song accompanied by a futuristic video. It’s much simpler than her own music. It’s still an amazing bop.
I wonder if other e-Sports teams will get on this trend. UYU, Evil Genius, EQNX, Panda Global, NASR all need to drop their tracks. That would be pretty amazing. Check out the video below:
