In the latest issue of Famitsu, Nihon Falcom officially announced details of their upcoming anime: The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel The Northern War. This anime series will follow the events of North Ambria’s annexation in the year S.1205. A brand new Ambrian character named Ravi will act as the series protagonist and view point of events. This new series will be directed by Hidekazu Sato (Masterpiece: Aquarion Logos, Last Hope) in part with Tatsunoko Production.
This new series is slated for an early 2023 release in Japan. No word yet on which streaming services this show will be available on for those outside of Japan.
