KoeiTecmo revealed this morning that GUST Studios will be developing a JRPG adaptation of the megahit manga/anime series Fairy Tail. The game’s development will be under the supervision of Hiro Mashima; the creator of Fairy Tail. This means the game should be faithful to the source material.
Hopefully we get some more gameplay footage in the next few weeks. I assumed this would be a Musou style game but seeing as Omega Force is not involved, I’m hoping its a turn based RPG. I think Gust Studio will do a great job with this IP. Check out the reveal trailer below:
