The Chinese gaming scene has definitely evolved quite a bit in a short amount of time. Game Science Studios located in Hangzhou is a prime example. Their debut game Black Myth: Wu Kong looks to be a AAA quality third person action RPG that takes nods from the Souls series with its own unique twist. The game takes advantage of the Unreal Engine 4. The story is based on the legendary Journey to the West folklore sometimes known as the Monkey King.
It’s slated to be released on PC and all major consoles. They are also exploring Cloud-based gaming services as well. No release date has been confirmed right now. Check out the pre-alpha build below:
