#Breaking: Project L Will Be Free-To-Play Confirmed By Developers

Tom Cannon dropped a quick video update about the upcoming fighter Project L. In the video he gives us a development update on where they are with the game. The core gameplay and mechanics seems to be finalized and they are moving towards creating characters and social/online infrastructure. They also unveiled a brand new character Illaoi is the Truth Bearer of Nagakabouros. You can check out more on her lore and creation in the link above.

Also, Tom mentioned that Project L will be Free-To-Play much like other Riot Games in the past. They are confident that this is the best way to bring the game to as many people as possible. He also stressed that the game’s monetization will not be egregious and predatory. He also said the next update will be this winter for the game.
