KoeiTecmo‘s newest DLC costume pack for Dead or Alive 5: Last Round offers some of the best character mashups to date collaborating with ArcSys Works (BlazBlue, Guilty Gear). These mashups are quite spot on either by character likeness or just how well they translated into 3D. Personally, some of these are either characters I don’t play in DOA5 or characters in BlazBlue/Guilty Gear that I don’t like. There are a few conflicting ones. I hate Hitomi since DOA3 but I love Tsubaki in BlazBlue. This push and pull will definitely hit my wallet this week as I deliberate which costumes I need. I decided to highlight some of my favorites below. I think the I-No/Ayane, Noel/Kasumi, Jam/LeiFang and Nine/Helena mashups were the best. This DLC pack is available now in Japan on Xbox One, PS4 and Steam. The US/EU store should be updating later today.
