Its been a long time since I’ve geared myself up for a new season of Anime to come. For some reason, the summer anime season always brings me lots of shows to watch more than any other. Magical Girl
I didn’t even think Symphogear was very popular. I always felt like it was a niche anime/sentai show that only a few people watched. Someone they’ve managed to get a season 4. I’m not too sure what the new season will be about but I’m so hype for it.
The name kinda speaks for itself: Battle Girl High School.
I think this will be interesting take on the Magical Girl genre. Just from the trailer, it will have an amazing OST. Princess Principal:
The “spy action” series follows five girls in 19th century London, a city within the Albion Kingdom divided into east and west by a large wall. The girls serve as undercover spies enrolled as students at the prestigious Queen’s Mayfair school. The girls make use of their individual abilities to remain active in the underground world of disguise, espionage, infiltration, and car chases.
Action
I was not aware that Stan Lee was doing a collaboration for an anime. Given that, it’s exactly what you’d expect from him. The Reflection:
After THE REFLECTION, some of the people in all parts of the world are discovered with super powers. Some become heroes, and others villains. How did the Reflection happen? What was the cause of it? With many unsolved mysteries, the world is lead into turmoil.
Ah yes, some supernatural Shonen for the Summer. I hope they use this style of music for the show. So far, it does seem a little by-the-numbers but I’ll give it a chance.
Chronos Rulers (Jikan no Shihaisha) are those who fight the time-eating demons that appear when people wish they could turn back time. The Chronos Rulers fight a time-manipulation battle against these demons.
Fantasy
Mechs and Magic. Seems like a show I need to watch. The visuals look really good. I hope the story and pacing can keep my attention for the entire summer.
A mecha otaku is reincarnated into another world as Ernesti Echevalier, also known as Eru. In this world exists huge humanoid weapons known as Silhouette Knights. Dreaming of piloting those robots, Eru, with childhood friends, Archid Walter and Adeltrud Walter, aim to become Knight Runners, pilots of these Silhouette Knights.
