Nippon Ichi Software is known for crazy, irreverent RPGs. Most of them are very tongue-and-cheek. Surprisingly their latest JRPG Destiny Connect is vastly different from their usual formula. Not only does the game look like Jimmy Neutron or some other Nickelodeon kids cartoon from the early 2000s, its very innocent as well. There’s definitely no swearing, sex jokes or innuendos to be found. Is this game too kiddy to be taken serious?
