Riot Games has just uploaded a new Development Update video for Project L. This new video shows off the core mechanics of the game in a brief overview. One of the major components for combat is their Tag system. This game will utilize an active tag (similar to Marvel vs Capcom Infinite and Battle for the Grid) and assist moves. Moreover, this game will have a Burst mechanic much like in Guilty Gear, Blazblue and other anime fighting games.
Still there’s no release date mentioned, but they revealed that more information about game will come in 2023. Check out the new update video below:
