Like many, I assumed that Atlus was going to milk this Persona 5 brand for all yen and euro it could for as long as it could. When it was originally announced, I assumed Persona 5 Scramble was going to be a copypasta Musou game. How wrong was I? From this latest trailer, it looks to be a genuine fully realized action-RPG. Aside from fighting hordes of monsters with the Phantom Thieves, there will be platforming, exploring and social linking? It looks much more involved than your run-of-the-mill Musou game. I’m very eager to play this.
Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will drop in Japan on February 20, 2020 for the Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Hopefully a western release is scheduled later in 2020. Check out the new trailer below:
