Finally, we get the last DLC character Soul Calibur 6. And it’s a fan favorite who’s been away for a long time. Hwang will be the next DLC character. After months of speculation and rumors/leaks we can confirm his addition to the roster. He has been missing in action since Yun Seong replaced him in Soul Calibur 2. There has been a long standing campaign to get him back on the roster. I’m glad that he is finally back. He is one of my favorite Soul Calibur characters. It looks like all his usual tools and gameplay have been preserved with some new tricks.
Hwang will be available for purchase on 12/2/2020 and free for Season Pass 2 holders. Check out his trailer below:
