During today’s State of Play, Sony dropped a nice nugget in the form of a new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake or FFVIIR. We got to see Aerith and Barrett fully rendered in all their glory as well as Avalanche members too. There were a few bits of combat thrown in for good measure. It looks like the battle system is way more refined and dynamic than the last trailers we saw before.
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited to see this happen. This new teaser trailer has indeed ignited my inner fanboy. Cross Slash looks incredible and the gameplay looks very cinematic. Seeing Aerith again really struck a cord with me. The voice acting is spot on so far. Can’t wait to see what they show in June. Take a look the teaser below:
