Nihon Falcom finally released the first official trailer for Ys X: Nordics. This game takes us on a new adventure in Obelia Bay, the northern sea, with our boy Adol Christin.
This game is packed with some serious action. With its speedy “solo mode”, you can fight with player control and your buddy’s auto attack and support. The “cross action” mode takes things to a whole new level. You and your partner operate a series of actions at the same time, fighting against a strong enemy. This game is all about the tag team action. This system allows players to challenge battles in two different modes, making for an even more thrilling gameplay experience. You can switch between modes on the fly, giving you complete control over your fighting style and strategy.
Now, Falcom has never been known for pushing the boundaries of graphical fidelity, but their commitment to impressive art direction and fluid animation more than make up for it. You will feel fully immersed in the world of Obelia Bay, with its vibrant colors and beautiful landscapes.
It looks to have everything you’d want in a next gen Ys game – action-packed gameplay, great art direction, and innovative new systems. Join Adol Christin on his latest adventure this September in Japan for Playstation 4/5. No word yet on a worldwide release. Check out the new trailer below:
