Last night at C2E2 the Crown Championship of Cosplay took place to crown their US Champion and their overall World Champion. The cosplay judges included Ivy Doomkitty, Peppermonster Cosplay and Ginoza Costuming. Xephyr cosplaying as Moira O’Deorain from Overwatch was crown the US Champion. He went on to compete against the other champions from China, Austria, Singapore, Indonesia, Korea, France, the UK, and South Africa.
After a fierce competition, Xephr and the France Champion LeelooKris Cosplay as Lagertha from Vikings were runner ups. The was World Champion was South Africa Champion JinxKittie Cosplay as Blood Priestess Bathory from Cinderys. It was quite a spectacular show. The champions split a cash prize of $10K.
