Focus Entertainment finally released the long awaited gameplay reveal for their upcoming AAA epic Atlas Fallen. While most people will draw comparisons to the recent SquareEnix title Forspoken, it does look to have much more dynamic combat.
Atlas Fallen is a narrative-driven sci-fi adventure game set in a dystopian world where genetically enhanced humans known as “Imperials” have taken control of the world and the remaining non-enhanced humans live as second-class citizens.
Players take on the role of Olivia, a young woman who has been taken in by a rebel group known as the Atlas Corporation. Players must navigate dangerous missions, political intrigue, and unexpected alliances as they fight to overthrow the Imperials and restore freedom to humanity.
The game features a mix of puzzle-solving, exploration, and combat, as well as choices that impact the story’s outcome with branching paths. This game’s success will depend on how well the game’s performs on Playstation 5 and PC. Will it have consistent 60FPS and 4K support? Also, how fun and intuitive are the controls? Unfortuately, there’s no demo announced right now so we’ll have to wait and see.
