
Since the advent of the Wendy’s twitter account rising to fame, many other brands have tried to emulate that same “self awareness.” It has been hit or miss for everyone else. ArcSysWorks tried to replicate that same twitter magic, but they devolved into a horny-on-main account. There was quite a bit of backlash from it.
Less than a month since the last twitter debacle, the ArcSys twitter page is under fire for trolling Cyberpunk 2077 after they announced the game would be delayed again. In a now deleted tweet, the ArcSys account posted this:

It seems like whomever is handling the twitter page for ArcSysWorks needs to be retrained or shifted to another department. While people do enjoy social media accounts that are fun and self-aware, they also like them to be professional. These kind of shenanigans can be detrimental to a brand. Being “horny” or a troll can be on-brand if that’s what you represent. But if that’s not the case, it’s best to keep it in the drafts.
