Dark Star Squadron is a new animated space opera in partnership with Zoe Saldana’s Cinestar Pictures.
Dark Star Squadron has us looking at the adventures of four underachieving, misfit cadets as they come from a joyride to find their school is utterly destroyed. Can these four heroes find their way to the mystery of their devastated school despite their ill preparedness?
Zoe Saldana of Guardians of the Galaxy and Star Trek and her sisters, Mariel and Cisely Saldana are the executive producers of this upcoming epic anime. ”As true animation and anime fans ourselves, we are so excited for the opportunity to partner with Crunchyroll to bring ‘Dark Star Squadron’ to a wide audience,” Zoe, Cisely and Mariel Saldana in a joint statement.
Excited for the series? I’m interested in seeing how this story unfolds. It’s looking to be an epic adventure to say the least.
