One of the best features about the Xbox One is the backwards compatibility to play Xbox 360 games. It’s a feature that in time will prove to be a great asset to the console once more games have been emulated and added to the list. Lost Odyssey, created by RPG visionary and Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi along with his team Mistwalkers, was considered to be one the great JRPG classics of the last generation. This week, Microsoft updated their compatibility list to include this game. The only catch is that you have to have the disc in order to play it. The digital version is not compatible with the Xbox One. The game is pretty cheap on eBay, Amazon and Gamestop so it shouldn’t be too hard to track down if you want to play this for the first time. Hopefully more JRPGs are added to the list including my favorite mediocre epic Infinite Undiscovery.
