Nexon and Neople have unveiled an in-depth exploration of Khazan’s story within the expansive Dungeon & Fighter (DNF) Universe. The narrative of Khazan, who transforms from a barbarian to the Great General of Pell Los, is a captivating tale of heroism, betrayal, and revenge. Once celebrated as a hero of the Empire, Khazan is falsely accused of treason by the emperor and exiled to the mountains. On his path to vengeance, he encounters the enigmatic Blade Phantom, who endows him with new powers.
Behind the Scenes Development Video
To give fans a glimpse of what to expect, Nexon and Neople have released extended gameplay footage for their upcoming hardcore action RPG, The First Berserker: Khazan. This new trailer features the first 15 minutes of gameplay, where Khazan, the titular character, battles soldiers, monsters, and beasts in a harsh icy tundra following his escape from exile. The gameplay showcases tight, strategic combat movements and the dynamic action fans can look forward to.
The trailer also highlights Neople’s signature 3D cel-animated cutscenes, leading up to a thrilling face-to-face encounter with the game’s first formidable boss. This battle promises to test players’ combat skills and strategic thinking.
In addition to the gameplay reveal, Nexon and Neople have shared a behind-the-scenes look at Khazan’s story through the first development team update video. Fans of the long-running DNF series will be excited to learn that The First Berserker: Khazan is set for a worldwide release in 2025 available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, and Windows PC via Steam.
