
We’ve been eagerly awaiting new information about the tiny project Lost Soul Aside which spawned into an internet sensation when the first trailer appeared online a few years ago. Since then, Bing Yang was invited to join Sony’s Southeast Asia division China Hero Project, which would help Chinese indie developers with funding and resources to bring their game to life. The last official update we got was around 2018.
Just a couple of hours ago, Bing Yang uploaded brand new footage of his debut title. This new footage shows a big graphical update to the characters. Their face models look more detailed and photo-realistic. The particle and visual effects look much more polished than before. We also get to see more weapons and gameplay mechanics. Our hero has a parry mechanic much like Bayonetta‘s witch time that allows for some crazy follow up attacks. Over the 18 minute footage gives a better glimpse of what is to come when the full game finally gets released. We still don’t know when it is coming out, but we do know it will be for the Playstation 4. Check out the new footage below:
