Glamour Magazine in collaboration with Ally and Katie Couric have developed an editorial series exploring, highlighting and praising women in various fields/industries who are shattering the glass ceiling. Unfortunately, marginalized groups, particularly Black women face an unprecedented amount of hate and trolling for their race and gender. (See Misogynoir)
Despite the odds, Jeannail ‘Cuddle_Core’ Carter has risen to the top as one of the best Tekken players in the world. Carter was signed to Equinox Gaming in 2018 and later became the first black woman signed to Redbull Gaming in 2021. Carter continues to blaze her own trail and create the blueprint for other black women in gaming to follow.
