This whimsical pop music fever dream is one of the most innovative video game experiences I’ve played in a long time. Sayonara Wild Hearts doesn’t remake the wheel but it improves on a great design and carves out its own unique spin on it. Combining several different genres like free runner, retro arcade and racing with an incredible soundtrack, Sayonara Wild Hearts is a true triumph artistically, musically and visually. Does it have what it takes to be Game of the Year?
